IUT has a Medical Center at the North- West corner of the campus. It has five well equipped observation beds, Mini operation Room, Medicine store, waiting area, and a pathological laboratory currently launched. It provides normal Medicare to the students, faculties, staff, and the family members. Necessary medicines are also available in the store. There are three doctors, two nurses doing the duties round the clock 24/7. In case of emergency, the doctor on duty can be contacted on the Medical Centre Hotline: +88 01844 056056. 

Students will get medical facilities according to the IUT health care policy. No Students will get medical facilities or reimbursement of bills for their medical treatment during the time of Leave/vacation, except during training programs officially arranged for them. In case of hospitalization, the students are entitled to get accommodation of single AC cabin of our authorizes hospitals-

If anyone avails higher accommodation in these hospitals, He/she will bear the difference over of his/her entitlement and will settle the same with the hospital before release.

Advice from one of the IUT Physicians must be sought before hospitalization. Students must also take prior permission from one of the IUT Doctors before going to an outside medical specialist for consultation. Medical expenses will be allowed as per rules of the University. All prescriptions and receipts must be on printed forms. Details may be obtained from the Medical Center. Submission of medical bills for reimbursement must be made within the ongoing financial year (January-December).
