It is my great pleasure as the Chancellor of the Islamic University of Technology to witness the progress made by the IUT in fulfilling its mission by becoming a flagship institution established by leaders of Islamic World to educate and train the youths of the Ummah.

I believe that with every passing year, the University will be achieving new successes in terms of quality of education, training, and research. I am happy to learn that currently the University is in the process of expanding its infrastructure with a view to offering better facilities and learning environment for the benefit of its students.

It is my firm believe that the students with their knowledge and skills, as well as imbued with the values, ideals, and spirits of Islam, will contribute not only to the development of their respective country, but also be an asset for the humanity at large.

I would like to reassure you that the OIC General Secretariat and relevant OIC institutions will continue to extend all possible support towards improving the quality of education, so that the University can achieve higher  standards at international level.

I also take this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to the people and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, as well as the Member States of the OIC, for their continued assistance to the University without which it would not be possible for the IUT to prosper.
