Message from Dean (Faculty of Engineering and Technology)

Dean, FETI heartily welcome you to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). Thank you for your interest in the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Students from 57 different countries of OIC share and disseminates knowledge that harbors uniqueness and versatility. Our prime objective is to serve the Muslim Ummah as well as the whole world in knowledge, education and research.
IUT functionalizes its different undergraduate and graduate programmes through two faculties: Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) and Faculty of Science and Technical Education (FSTE). I am very happy to serve FET in the capacity of a Dean since August 8, 2022. The FET is comprised of four departments: Mechanical and Production Engineering (MPE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), and Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE). We offer 6 undergraduate degree programmes and 15 graduate programmes serving more than 2200 undergraduate and over 500 graduate students.
Distinguished in their fields of expertise, our faculty members are committed to deliver lessons so that student get lifelong learning, the integration of research and teaching. IUT ensures continuous improvement in education through development of highly qualified faculty members; development of laboratory facilities; acquire meritorious students; provide exponential learning; motivate students for extra-curricular activities; collection of feedback from alumni and industry; gradation of curriculum regularly; collaboration with industries and Universities nationally and internationally. It is my pleasure to inform you that all the departments started outcome-based-education system (OBE), and they are working very hard to achieve the accreditation from the national and international bodies for their different programmes.
The graduates pursue careers in a vast number of interdisciplinary areas in Engineering. Our graduates are employed in different high ranking Universities/Institutions and well famous Industries all over the world.
