​Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technical Education (FSTE) at the Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of the Organisation of Islamic
Cooperation (OIC). Students from 57 member countries of the OIC come together here to share and disseminate knowledge, fostering uniqueness and versatility in learning. Our prime objective is to serve the Muslim Ummah, as well as the global community, through knowledge, education, and research.

IUT delivers its undergraduate and graduate programmes through the faculties I am honoured to serve as Dean of FSTE since 01 February 2026. FSTE comprises three departments: Business and Technology Management (BTM), Technical and Vocational Education (TVE), and Natural Sciences (NSc). Together, these departments offer a range of undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree programmes serving more than 300 students.

Our faculty members are distinguished in their respective fields and are deeply committed to delivering instruction that fosters lifelong learning and the meaningful integration of research and teaching. IUT continually strives to improve the quality of education through the development of highly qualified faculty; enhancement of laboratory facilities; recruitment of meritorious students; promotion of experiential and expansive learning; encouragement of extracurricular activities; collection of feedback from alumni and industry partners; regular curriculum revision; and collaboration with national and international universities and industries.

I am pleased to share that all departments have adopted an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system and are actively working toward accreditation from both national and international bodies for their respective programmes. 

Our graduates pursue careers across a wide range of interdisciplinary fields and are employed in leading universities, institutions, and industries around the world.
