​BASIS National ICT Award​ is one of the most prestigious tech awards of Bangladesh that provides recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals, students, entrepreneurs, SMEs and organizations. We are proud to inform you that, ​Ridwan Kabir​ (IUT CSE'13, Lecturer, CSE, IUT) along with his teammate ​Mohaimin Ehsan​ (IUT CSE’13, Graduate Teaching Assistant, Brock University, Ontario, Canada) have become the ​WINNER (FIRST RUNNER UP)​ in ​BASIS National ICT Award 2020​ under the category of ​Research and Development​ where they participated with their undergraduate final year thesis titled ​"RENOVO: An Orthotic Quantitative Assessment and Visualization System for Hemiplegic Upper Limb Rehabilitation."​
We would like to congratulate them for achieving the most prestigious award in ICT sector nationally. They are now also eligible for APICTA Award which is to be held in Malaysia later this year. We wish them all the best for their nomination for the APICTA award 2021.

​Ridwan Kabir​ and ​Mohaimin Ehsan​ are members of ​IUT Systems and Software Lab (SSL)​ research group. The project was supervised by ​Mr. Hasan Mahmud ​(Assistant Professor, CSE, IUT).
